Your media and permissions
Shorts may be created from listing photos, videos, text, music and narration. Upload or select media only when you hold the rights and permissions needed for its use, including music, recordings, voices, likenesses and personal information. Platform-provided music, if available, is subject to its displayed licence and does not establish rights to reuse it elsewhere. You retain your original rights; the Terms permit processing and display for the service.
Truthful content and moderation
Review previews before publishing. Do not create misleading product claims, deceptive impersonation, non-consensual intimate imagery or unlawful synthetic content. Preserve required provenance and labels, and disclose synthetic or materially altered media where required. Shorts may be reviewed, restricted, regenerated or removed with the related listing. Playback, reach and commercial results are not guaranteed.
Copyright complaints and responses
Send copyright concerns to the Grievance Officer with the work identified, the allegedly infringing URL or Short/listing ID, your contact information, your authority to act and an explanation of the alleged infringement. Provide a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised and that your information is accurate. Do not send passwords or unnecessary identity documents. We may request proportionate evidence, restrict disputed content, notify the uploader and consider their response. Repeat or serious infringement can lead to restrictions. Statutory remedies remain available.
Limits and future paid quotas
Current free Shorts availability and generation limits depend on the active service configuration. Paid Shorts quotas, membership allowances and paid boosts are future features. No payment is due and no extra quota is promised by accepting this policy; any future paid allocation, expiry and refund conditions require a separate offer.
