Information we process

We process account details such as name, email, mobile number, password hash, profile photo and any address or location you provide; social sign-in identifiers where used; listings, photos, videos, Shorts, messages and attachments; favourites, saved searches, viewed listings, deal completion, ratings, reports and notification choices. We also process device and push identifiers, login/session records, IP-based security and rate-limit information, usage events and policy acceptance records. We record an 18+ declaration rather than requiring a date of birth for V1 registration.

Why we use information

We use this information to create and secure accounts, verify email, publish and discover listings, enable communications and Shorts, show relevant content, send service notifications, prevent abuse, moderate content, respond to requests and comply with applicable law. Location is used when provided or permitted for local discovery and addresses. Optional device permissions can be controlled through device settings; notification preferences can be changed in your account.

Public information and recipients

Listings, public profile information, ratings and published Shorts can be viewed by others. Seller contact details may appear on listings. Messages are available to participants and may be accessed as needed for support, safety or lawful requests; do not treat them as end-to-end encrypted. Do not publish private documents or other people’s contact details without permission.

Hosting, email, location, authentication, analytics and push service providers process relevant data to provide their services. Google sign-in is optional. The website uses session cookies, local browser storage and, when configured, Google Analytics. Third-party services have their own privacy terms and may process data outside India subject to applicable requirements. Information may be shared where necessary with authorities, professional advisers or in a lawful business transfer.

Retention and protection

We use access controls, password hashing and session safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information as needed for the service, security, disputes and applicable legal duties; some records and backups may remain after an account is closed. Retained information should be restricted to the relevant purpose. Do not assume that deleting an account instantly removes copies held by recipients or search engines.

Your choices and requests

You can update profile details, manage notifications and request access, correction or deletion by emailing support from your registered email address. You may also ask to withdraw consent for processing based on consent; this may affect the service we can provide. We may verify account ownership proportionately, without asking for your password or OTP. Requests are handled under applicable law, including data protection rights as they come into force. Accounts are for adults aged 18+. If you believe a child has supplied information, contact support or the Grievance Officer so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Privacy complaints can be escalated through Grievance Redressal. Acceptance records acknowledge this notice and the applicable policies; they are not blanket consent to optional marketing or future paid services.
